Meet Jim
Jim Osmundsen has a real estate philosophy rooted in service and honesty to his clients. A belief in a friendly realism approach to listing, marketing, selling and buying a home that enables a client to feel comfortable and confident throughout the process. Jim has for more than a dozen years navigated the Island market, he readily shares his experience and knowledge with sellers and buyers alike. He values the relationship that is established through the buying and selling of a home, and which often continues on beyond the closing table.
Prior to choosing an Island life Jim worked in R&D, Health & Safety and Product Compliance in a corporate environment in NY. Ultimately after frequenting the Vineyard, the call to the Island became too strong to ignore and Jim made the year round commitment in 2006. When he did land on Island it did not take long to get his feet wet. Jim made a connection quickly with the local TV station as a videographer, another itch he had to be part of the medical field lead to becoming an EMT and an EMT instructor. And a lifelong hobby of SCUBA diving advanced to the professional level as a Dive Master which progressed to work dives, and leading and teaching diving.
When Jim is not wearing his Realtor hat he is ducking beneath the waves, filming local meetings or tending to his bees he keeps. The Island community is a large part of Jim’s life and which he enjoys sharing with family and friends.
