West Tisbury is an attractive destination for a variety of folks. The town’s center includes a recently renovated 1870s town hall and the original fairgrounds of the Martha’s Vineyard Agricultural Society. West Tisbury has a deeply artistic flair, Its residents notably include author David McCullough and singer Carley Simon, and destinations such as the Field and Granary galleries offer unique perspectives. There are many farms in West Tisbury as well, and active equestrian culture. Alongside all of this West Tisbury is home to the highest-priced residential real estate sale to date - a $32M transfer in the Paul’s Point neighborhood in 2018.
